YAC Presents: Fly Fishing at Harlem Meer with CUCNY
Did you know you can catch a fish in Central Park? Join the CUCNY Young Alumni Committee at Central Park’s Harlem Meer for fly-casting lessons. We’ve partnered with Orvis and some Master Fly Casting instructors to offer the basics for beginners and a tune-up for those who have hit the water before. Before we’re done, you’ll be presenting a fly like a pro. No experience or fishing license is necessary, and all equipment will be provided.”
Time: 10am-12PM
Location: The Harlem Meer, NE Corner of Central Park, Enter on the east side at 106th.
Cost: $25 for members and guests
Final sale date Wednesday, September 21.
Additionally, the Columbia College Alumni Association will be hosting their Day in the Park, starting at noon also at the Harlem Meer.
