Mask and Wig Annual Production: Juice Box Hero

Mask and Wig Annual Production: Juice Box Hero

Here is your chance to see the amazing Mask & Wig Club perform.

The Mask and Wig Club, founded in 1889, is the nation’s oldest all-male collegiate musical comedy troupe. Created as an alternative to the existing theatrical and dramatic outlets at Penn, Mask and Wig has presented comedy, music, and dance to Penn’s campus, the Philadelphia community, and audiences across the country and overseas while upholding its credo “Justice to the stage; credit to the University.”

Is doing homework a real pain in the class? Ever long for the days of home sweet homeroom? Well, put down your number two pencils and join Mask and Wig at McKinley Elementary’s 5th grade science fair. This year, the winner is Toby, a kid with detention deficit disorder. But he has a secret: he didn’t do his project — his “not mad, just disappointed” scientist father did. Even worse, band teacher Ms. Hertz now has her ion Toby and “his” project in a plan to get back her hydrogen powered job at the Department of Energy. It’s fission impossible when Toby and his classmates chalk up a plan to keep their inventions out of the Hertz Locker. Will our heroes be saved by the bell or will Ms. Hertz hold them back? Either way, Rec’ess La Vie! So open your textbooks to Mask and Wig’s 130th Annual Production: Juice Box Hero; or, It’s Not Over ‘Til The Lunch Lady Sings!
