What do you do with a drunken sailor? Why, take him over to the Mask and Wig Clubhouse, of course, and climb aboard for an unforgettable, underwater musical spectacular. We’re cruising for a boozing 4050 feet below sea level with Captain Dale Merriman, marine biologist extraordinaire Dr. Taylor Martin, and bumbling scrub Walter McHenry on their way back from a five-year expedition around the world. But down where there’s no surface tension, war-hardened lobsters, concussed hammerhead sharks, and those plastic soda rings that entangle sea turtles rock the boat. Will the submarine crew make it out alive? Which seahorse will win the Kelpmont Stakes? And why do blobfish exist? Give into pier pressure, get shipfaced, and stay for the halibut at Mask and Wig’s 131st Annual Production: The Book of Mermen!
Cost: tickets range between $20-$40 per person.

Tickets for all shows may be refunded until 48 hours prior to the scheduled start of the performance. Refund requests made after 48 hours prior to the scheduled start of a performance will not be honored. Refunds are not available for tickets purchased as part of a group sale. All refund requests will be responded to within 96 hours of request initiation.
The Mask and Wig Club, founded in 1889 by Clayton Fotterall McMichael, is the oldest all-male collegiate musical comedy troupe in the United States. Founded as an alternative to the existing dramatic outlets at the University of Pennsylvania, Mask and Wig presents comedy, music, and dancing to the University of Pennsylvania, to Philadelphia and to audiences across the country.
