Neue Galerie Tour and Lunch at Demarchelier
Spend the afternoon at the Neue Galerie. The group will enjoy a tour of the Munch and Expressionism exhibit which examines Edvard Munch’s influence on his German and Austrian contemporaries. The exhibit consists of approximately 35 paintings and 50 works on paper from artists such as Edvard Munch, Max Beckmann, Erich Heckel, Richard Gerstl, Egon Schiele and Oskar Kokoschka. Several pieces in the show have never been seen in the United States.
Afterwards, the group is invited to an a la carte lunch at the French restaurant Demarchelier. Please meet the group promptly at 11:30am at the Neue Galerie. The museum is located at 1048 Fifth Avenue on the corner of 86th Street.
