Hamilton Grange National Memorial Tour
Enjoy a ranger led tour of Hamilton Grange National Memorial, the preserved home of the United States founding father, Alexander Hamilton. Hamilton Grange, designed by architect John Macomb Jr., was built as the country home for the Hamilton family and was originally part of a 32-acre estate in upper Manhattan. The two-story Federal-style house was completed in 1802, two years before Hamilton’s death during his duel with Aaron Burr on July 11, 1804.
After the tour, the group will enjoy an a la carte lunch together at The Grange Bar and Eatery located at 1635 Amsterdam Avenue between 140th and 141 Street. Please arrive promptly at 10:45AM for the tour. The Hamilton Grange is located at 414 West 142 Street between St. Nicholas Avenue and Amsterdam Avenue and is accessible by 1, A, B, C, D subway.
