Men and Women In the Workplace: How Teamwork is Possible in an Era of Change

Men and Women In the Workplace: How Teamwork is Possible in an Era of Change

The corporate environment today is facing a host of issues that separate genders and cause a loss of shared vision and teamwork.  The #MeToo Movement has ignited long-simmering resentment and hostilities that have surfaced and are causing disruptions in many areas of the workplace environment. Each gender is often defensive and believe their interactions are seen as suspect. Many times, their actions and words are misinterpreted and misunderstood. As a result, people are overly cautious or withdrawn in their personal interactions and communications, leading to an erosion of comradery and cohesion. However, there are solutions. A panel comprised of leaders in human relations, executive leadership consulting and team building training will lead us through a discussion of discovering what’s possible.

PANELISTS:
Gaby Jordan ’84 LAW,  Handel Group; Principal; Executive Coach – moderator
Chrisa Zindor,  Handel Group, Education Course Leader
Richard Lawley,  Search 22, President,  Executive Recruiter
Chason Hecht,  Retensa, President, HR Consultants
Tiffany Yarde,  Skadden Arps, Diversity and Inclusion Coordinator

Reception: 6PM, Lecture: 6:30PM
