Golf & Sports Analytics at the Penn Club with Professor Mark Broadie

Join us for an evening at the Penn Club with Columbia Business School professor Mark Broadie on May 11th for an illuminating discussion about the latest in golf and sports analytics and how similar applications can drive transformations at your company or organization.

The event will be moderated by Jacob A. Shapiro (CLS ‘18) and Moshmi S (SPS’19).

Tickets are $25 for Columbia Club members and $15 for Columbia Club members who belong to the Penn Club.  Penn Club members should register on the Penn Club site.   Guests are welcome! Tickets are refundable until May 6th.

Mark Broadie

Mark Broadie is the Carson Family Professor of Business at the Graduate School of Business at Columbia University.  His research addresses issues in quantitative finance and sports analytics and, more generally, methods for decision making under uncertainty.  He developed the strokes gained golf stats that are used by the PGA Tour. He works with a number of PGA Tour coaches and players and writes a monthly column for GOLF magazine. His New York Times bestselling book Every Shot Counts uses data and analytics to measure and improve golf performance and strategy. Professor Broadie received a BS from Cornell University and a PhD from Stanford University.
