Tanya Bryson
For the past 18 years, Tanya Bryson has been focused on one thing: Scaling celebrity brands. As the former EVP of the Roc Apparel group, she joined Jay-z’s Rocawear one year after its inception, and helped the company grow from 0 to 700 million over the course of 7 years. “The problem with celebrity brands is they spike at first, and then they level out,” she says. “However, with strong leadership and a keen understanding of the target demographic, one can ensure that a celebrity brand endures market cycles.” Botched PR efforts, a tendency to oversaturate, you name it, can cost even the most seemingly untouchable brands. Tanya also has extensive experience in consumer marketing, distribution and finance, with specific expertise in fashion and apparel. In addition, she also ran Pharrell Williams’ Billionaire Boys Club, Young Jeezy’s 8732 and has launched over additional 15 other brands.
