James Zirin Discusses America’s Oldest Court and the History of Our Justice System
James D. Zirin is the host of the highly acclaimed cable talk show “Digital Age.” Aired weekly throughout the New York area, Mr. Zirin interviews high profile personalities from a broad range of fields, including politics, law, foreign relations, and media. A leading litigator, Mr. Zirin served as Assistant US Attorney for the Southern District of NY in the Criminal Division under Robert M. Morgenthau, and represented clients in some of the most notorious financial scandals of our era.
Mr. Zirin’s “The Mother Court-Tales of Cases That Mattered in America’s Greatest Trial Court,” is a historical narrative of the Court from the Cold War era of the 1950s to the present. Internal security, terrorism, organized crime, press freedoms, and white-collar crime are among the issues that landed in Mother Court and became a microcosm of a period of great transformation in American life.
